Baby flannel therapy rice socks

Today's project "Baby flannel therapy rice socks." Wow what a title. I made these for my friend that just had a baby a couple days ago. There so fun and easy to make. All you need is flannel, sewing machine, rice (5lbs all together for both socks) and lavender. You can use any sent you want but lavender is relaxing so I picked that for a baby. They use these in the Nicu so what a great present to give someone. If you want directions on how to make it just comment below.

Making Valentines

I've been making Valentines this week. I found a blog with tons of cute ideas and there's one I just couldn't pass up. It's says, "I like the way you roll, Happy Valentines Day." It's perfect for little boys and best of all it was cheap. I printed the cards myself on hard stock I already had, cut them out (easy peasy), then got some double stick tape and put the awesome Tonka trucks on. For 5 trucks it cost $5.88 at Walmart. That's pretty good considering. Basically I paid over a $1 each for all of them. Mind you I only did 5 cause he only has 4 boy cousins and one little friend he plays with often. I also did some fun little ones for his grandparents. Just a little something to say, "We are thinking about you." Love Bugs. Simple and sweet. You can find all these printable on my Pinterest under Valentines. Hope you enjoy!

First Hair Cut

We had such a fun day, today. We started out by going to Cookie Cutters in Lehi to get Teryx's first haircut. Let's just say he didn't like it to much. But I can't blame him, he's had shots the last couple of months so he was relating cutting his hair to the doctor office. Poor lil man he was so tuff.

 Happy Day, all done!

Next stop Cabela's a boys play ground.
For little boy and big boy.
Fist thing we did is went over to the Fish Aquarium. I can't believe how much fun he had, and us too. Seriously this summer at the Zoo is gonna be a blast. If you're a parent you know what I'm talking about when I say, "Its the best feeling in the world watching your lil' one learn and have fun."
Here he is with his Daddy.
I'm not sure why the Video is blurry I will see what I can do about that later.
And of course I had to snap a picture of my two sweet boys walking around hand in hand looking at cool stuff at Cabela's.
Kinda blurry but still super duper cute.
"Please Mommy can I have it. Please, Please, Please."
